Figuring out how much a college education may actually cost can be difficult and finding the best way to pay for it, even harder. In this program you will learn how to interpret each financial aid offer you've received and explore the best options to pay for and finance the family's share of the costs. The workshop will cover:
Understanding the specific funds offered by the colleges
Determining whether these funds are one-year or four-year awards, and what you need to do to have them renewed
Estimating the ultimate cost to the family based on the college's published costs and its financial aid offer
Reviewing the student and parent loan options for covering the costs the family will incur
The presenters from College Coach will include:
Robert Weinerman, Senior Director, College Financing Beth Feinberg Keenan, Counselor Alex Bickford, Counselor Laurie Peltier, Counselor Parents and college - bound seniors are welcome.
